I was really happy as this not only included the cost of the repair but also the rental company’s admin fees too! Takes a bit longer than going through the rental company directly but will save you money on extra excess protection, so I think it’s well worth it.

Take pictures of the car before and after, covering everything. If you do all of this, you should be fine! The insurance through rentalcover was almost half the price compared to sixt. I got a small scratch on my rental car and was charged way too much money. I filed the claim with rentalcovers, and after about a week and a half, I got the full amount back into my bank acount. The whole process was simple, I can't recommend them enough.

I’ve had some bad experiance with rental insurance before, so I wasn’t too sure about going with a third party like RentalCover for our Tuscany trip. When we got the car, the rental place said the cover wasn’t good enogh and tried to get us to pay more for their own insurance. At the end, they spotted a tiny scratch on the rim and charged €192. But making the claim with RentalCover was simple, uploading the documents was clear. Took a bit for them to say yes, but after that, the refund came fast. I think their help was very good.

Ik maak al een paar jaar gebruik van hun diensten en voel me altijd veilig en beschermd. Gelukkig hoefde ik nooit een claim in te dienen... totdat december. Ik werd door het verhuurbedrijf in Sicilië voor 210 EUR belast. Zodra ik de kosten kreeg, diende ik de claim in, en het duurde maar 3 werkdagen voordat ze deze verwerkten, bevestigden en goedkeurden. Het geld werd direct naar mijn Duitse bankrekening gestuurd en ik heb het al ontvangen. Geweldig serviçe! Ik zal zeker doorgaan met het gebruiken van hun diensten!

The 1st claim has just been submitted to Rental Cover. Damage to the rental car without us realizing it, it was discovered upon submission. The expense invoice uploaded for a claim. Approved within 3 days, refunded to our account within 1 week. It was a good test, I also learned that you are twice as insured at half the price at a counter at the airport. Many thanks to Rental Cover, from now on every rental car with your company!

Meestal is het de VERHUURDER die moeilijk doet als ik zeg “Ik heb al verzekering, dankjewel!” Vooral de MEXICAANSE bedrijven die helemaal geen buitenlandse verzekeringen accepteren! Maar vorig jaar kwamen ze echt goed uit de verf toen de VERHUURDER mij beschuldigde van “onzichtbare schade”. Niet veel vragen gesteld.

I paid the rental company a 2500eu deposit, after they checked the damage I got back 1570eu. Then I sent the documents to RentalCover and they approved coverage in a short time and the refund was made soon after. Very smooth process if you send all the needed documents.

Het was maar een vijfde van de prijs van de verzekering van het autoverhuurbedrijf en het indienen van een claim was simpel, de website is makkelijk te gebruiken en ze betaalden de claim snel terug zonder gedoe. Ik heb dit bedrijf meteen weer gebruikt voor onze volgende vakantie. Blijf ze gebruiken.

We were advised to get full insurance for our trip in Iceland. The rental company is very strict about even the smallest damage! We had a tiny scratch on a bumper, and they made us pay $4000 upfront at return. After their check, it cost $1500 (still too high, but we got back $2500). Anyway, RentalCover accepted our claim and paid in just two days!! TWO days! 5 Stars!

The company provides clear general conditions with good coverage. It's much cheaper compared to rental car CDW. It would be nice to have an option where the renter isn't charged for CDW upfront, and RentalCover deals with the rental company directly for CDW payment, even if it costs extra.

I accidentally harmed the back bumper of my rented campervan and the rental company asked for over 1100 eur!!! It felt like a robbery, honestly. It took way longer than 3 days (more like 3 weeks), but after it got approved and I gave them my bank details, the money came in the same day.
