SCAM! DISHONEST, STAY AWAY!!!
Extremely unsatisfied with my first experience purchasing from Oh Polly. On 8/20 I purchased 2 of the same dresses as I wanted them for my wedding reception (size 2 & size 4) I was in between sizes so I needed them BOTH in time by 9/15. I was notified 8/21 my dresses were shipped from the UK (I’m in the US). After waiting 4 days the tracking never updated from “awaiting carrier pick up” which means this package had never been dropped off. So I email for assistance politely asking when it would be dropped off. Jasmine responds with a screenshot of a website I cannot see the URL of showing an acceptance scan and that all is good it’s on the way! Perfect. Check back on the tracking ID they supplied me, still no change from “Awaiting Carrier Pick up”. Thinking this must be some technical error, I trust Jasmine’s response and wait patiently. On 9/29 (9 days after purchase) I receive an email “Congrats! Your new order has been placed for $163”. I never placed a second order. I review the email and it’s the SAME dress I purchased, in a size 4 (one of the sizes in my current order I’ve been waiting on). I reach out asking what is going on as I never placed a second order and additionally never received any communication that a second order was placed from Jasmine or any customer service rep. I get a response from Paige this time saying “Since your package is taking awhile at customs we’ve reshipped a replacement order free of charge!” First and foremost this struck me as completely odd as customs notoriously takes awhile. Furthermore, the status of the tracking ID NEVER even made it to customs, it was still in Oh Polly’s possession. So I respond, if this is a replacement order, then where is the other half of my order? I ordered 2 dresses (size 2 and size 4) and this “replacement” order only shows a size 4. Additionally, I visit their website and guess what is miraculously out of stock? The size 2 dress I purchased 9 days ago that was indeed IN STOCK when I purchased. Giving Paige this information and asking what actually happened to my original order has yielded silence from Oh Polly. I reached out to Jasmine as well regarding the whereabouts of my original package and no response. What a company of honesty and integrity. What I believe happened is they printed my label and never shipped my items, once I began asking where my package was, is when they decided to ship my order over a week later but now one of my items was out of stock due to them waiting 9 days after my original purchase to ship my items. So instead of being honest about the situation, they lie and say customs was just taking too long. I’ve never ever ever known a company to ship free merchandise just because customs is taking the normal amount of time. I’ve followed up with the tracking they supplied with FIC FedEx and they have confirmed they never received the package. Complete dishonesty and sketchy from and beginning. Both Jasmine and Paige’s responses were dishonest so I’m questioning the overall moral of this company if BOTH reps are trained to lie to the customer. I’ve yet to hear back still from either reps about what is going on. I will never purchase from this company again. Terrible experience with a terrible company
