Overall, I've had a good experience using Creately for the past 6 months as an Operations Manager in a logistics company. It's been a helpful tool for visually mapping out our processes and tracking activities across different teams. Here's what I like: Easy to Use: Creately has a user-friendly interface that made it simple for my team (with varying technical skills) to pick up and use fast. Great for Flowcharts: The vast library of shapes and templates was perfect for making clear and concise flowcharts of our logistics processes. This has been key in identifying bottlenecks and streamlining operations. Collaboration Friendly: The ability to share and work on diagrams with colleagues in real-time has been a big plus. It's made communication and process improvement much smoother. I bought a premium account to make a few documents

I bought a premium account to make a few documents, but after a few months, I stopped using it. I tried to cancel the account by contacting the company, but there was no way to do this from my account or by calling. They didn’t reply for a WEEK, so I sent another request. Their reply was very unsatisfactory. According to their Terms of Service 5.2, canceling a Paid Account should just switch it to a Non-Paid Account with basic features. Instead, their email said: Is there anything else I can do to help you? Canceling your subscription will erase all your workspaces and data from the Creately Server, and we won’t be able to recover them. This is an overly harsh way to handle a cancellation request. Their Terms of Service 5.4 state: Downgrading from Premium to Public may lead to losing User Material, access, or features. Cinergix is not responsible for such losses. However, their email implies they will delete everything, contradicting their own terms. This is misleading. They also mentioned that instead of canceling, they scheduled my account to pause on July 29, 2024, for 3 months, and then it will reactivate automatically. I didn’t ask them to pause my account. They should have suggested it but acted on their own, which seems deceptive. Their terms do not mention this procedure or the need for multiple cancellation requests. Their email even got a bit annoying, saying: If you still want to cancel, reply from the registered email with your consent and reason for unsubscribing. Why do I need to justify my decision to unsubscribe? The company’s response suggests that if you stop paying, they will cause problems and delete everything. This makes me unlikely to re-subscribe in the future, and I would not recommend their services.

Creately has proven to be a frustrating experience, ranking as the most bug-ridden commercial product I've encountered. Functionality is limited, particularly on Chrome, and the board creation process is painfully time-consuming due to numerous faults. While customer service attempts to address issues, it feels like navigating a beta test. The billing process is another headache, with charges occurring despite being on a free plan, and no clear means to view or cancel them. In comparison, Miro stands out as a vastly superior and free alternative, making Creately's shortcomings glaringly evident.

The software proved less user-friendly compared to other application software like PowerPoint, with tools being more cumbersome. It's advisable to steer clear of this platform.

It's really annoying

It's really annoying that you can't export without signing up, even just for one workspace. Now I have to redraw everything from scratch. As a student, this bothers me a great deal.
