They've been taking $21 from me every month ever since I tried their service once, almost two years ago. I had no idea, of course. How could I, when they never sent me an email about any bill? Their actions are like those of a parasite. They quietly empty your bank account without you noticing. Completely legal, but far from right

Bumper.com charged me for services I didn't use, and they won't refund me fully. Seems like others have faced similar issues. Are they getting credit card details unlawfully? Can't say for sure. Had to cancel my card and get a new one. Avoid this site. Might need legal action for a proper refund from this dodgy company.

Just like many others, I got ripped off by this company’s fees. I cancelled my 7-day trial the same day I signed up, but to my shock, I still got charged $24.99 every month for 6 months! I called them, and they refused to give me my money back. Very dodgy behavior!

I looked up "free VIN report." Got the top result. It shows you the usual 1 minute loading screen, then tries to get you to pay, presenting a "discount" that seems to be for everyone. Classic sales tactic, don’t get tricked. They want $13.99 each month.

You couldn’t give me any real info about the car. Just the model and year, which I already knew. I asked if it had a salvage title or was in good condition, but you didn’t answer. That’s why I ended my membership I had only just begun.

This company ain't worth it.

I shelled out 3.99 for a VIN lookup. After 6 months, they're still trying to bill me 22.99. It's a ripoff. Their VIN report ain't worth a dime. We found out the car we checked was stolen. The VIN showed a clean record. Don't bother.

This website's a scam. It said it found my VIN report, but after I paid and signed up, there was no report.

Total Scam.

I paid for just one report and made sure not to select the monthly plan, because i only wanted a single Report. Without telling me or asking, they linked some digital wallet to my Credit card and started charging 24.99 every month, which is 3 times the price of one report. After i was told about that digital wallet, i had it removed and ordered a new credit card. Still, even with a brand new card and new code, they kept charging me for months until i finally noticed it. To make things worse, the report i recieved was useless, it mostly shows what service is recomended, not what was really done on our car. Car fax gives way better info and does not use shady tricks. Also, the phone line they give you has no way to talk with a real person.

Hello I also was a victim to this bumper site out of New York New York also, I’ve done this subscription probably back in the beginning of the year and they charge my card a month later and I saw it. I ended the subscription because here recently this last month they’ve charged my card twice for two months subscriptions for one month two weeks apart I recently called my bank and I have opened up a fraudcase and account on the whole website please stop spending your money is not legitimate website. They’re just scamming trying to get money from you. Please take your money elsewhere. I understand if you just want to be a creeper and look at people shit but obviously look what it came to now.

This company is not trustworthy. It asks for your details and makes you think you're getting a fast review on your car's VIN. If you don't want an account, it suggests an easy one-time payment. But once you proceed, you end up being forced to create an account to cancel. After that, you're just passed around until you give up. These types of sites should be shut down. It's unbelievable that so much money is being taken from people in the U.S. every year, and no real action is being taken. Other countries don't allow shady websites on their networks; why doesn't the U.S. take the same steps to protect its citizens?

This person keeps pulling $25 from my account, and I have no idea what it's for. I called the number on Google, but the guy acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. He called me back and then kept hanging up. I need someone to check this out because I’m really angry. I don’t know how they got my info to take money from my card. I’ve been having issues with identity theft, and this could be related. I had a payment to make for some training, and now I can’t cover it because of this charge. Now, I have to wait for it to stop pending to get my money back.

Terrible experience – they asked for the vehicle VIN and their website looked like it was making a report. Then I had to pick a membership type and selected only one report. After $31.99 was charged to my PayPal and showed paid, I checked my account and saw nothing. I didn’t want to enter the VIN again because I feared another charge. I called but no one answered, so I decided to cancel. Later I learned it’s just a fee for future reports! Now I lost $32 and I suppose this is how they earn their money?

I emailed them asking for a refund, but all they did was cancel my subscription. No one responded to my refund request. Made mistake late one evening and clicked onto this site to receive report on vehicle I had purchased. Entered card number thinking i would be charged 1.00 , flat out lie by these criminals Stay Away. Ive been charged 23.99 for past 6 months. Unable to contact them through their lack-of customer- service number, just a big runaround!***these guys. Contemplating legal action. Like so many other folks on this site. Perhaps a class action will shut these mega scammers down! Stay Away!!!

I wanted to get some information about an RV I'm selling, just the basic specs. The website seemed like it was generating the report, showing a vehicle moving across a line like it was loading details. Then I paid for a trial membership and opened the report, but there was nothing there. Every section said "0" except for "clean title." How can the system not show any useful details? I ended up canceling my membership, hoping this wasn't some trick to get my payment details. :(

Not only did the report not provide the details I was expecting, but they charged me on the first day of a free 7-day trial. I contacted them immediately to ask for a refund and they ignored me. It's false advertising to say your customer gets a trial but charge them anyway. Doesn't matter whether it's $1 or $100. Just be honest. Glad I didn't try the 2nd-level subscription, because the charge wouldn't have been nominal.
