The manager said it's the only way they can rent out trucks because of people using fake IDs and stealing their tools. I asked for multiple verification codes, but the Clear system kept spinning without any progress. The management didn’t offer any other rental options. If Clear doesn’t work, you’re just out of luck. I mentioned that I can rent a car from many companies using my credit cards without needing all this. They said it was a corporate decision and there was nothing they could do. It’s disappointing that there's no backup plan when the tech fails. Home Depot needs to do better. Technology isn't always reliable.

Absolutely terrible experience with Home Depot! I'd rate them zero if possible. Bought a fridge, and the delivery was a nightmare. The delivery guys refused to install it because of a water issue. After struggling to shut it off myself, they agreed to deliver, only to drive away. Disgusting behavior! Home Depot's customer service is a disaster. Getting a refund was a nightmare. Never again will I buy from them. Opted for a reputable appliance store later, and the difference was night and day. Professional delivery, a pleasure to deal with – unlike those Home Depot losers.
